Last week for our MEC Monday blog post we looked ahead to the upcoming #Skypeathon (November 29th & 30th – mark your calendars!) by exploring the Skype in the Classroom Personal Development Webinar, hosted by Skype Master Teacher and MIE Expert Jed Dearybury. This week, we’re once again going to preview and upcoming global event by looking at some of the supporting materials that can be found on the MEC, and showing you how to get involved.
This month sees the return of the global #Skypeathon, taking place between on November 29th and 30th, connecting classrooms and students from all over the world as together they travel millions of virtual miles to take part in Skype Lessons, Mystery Skype, Virtual Field Trips, and to hear from guest speakers.

Thousands of educators, guest speakers and students travelled the world December 3 and 4 to celebrate learning without borders, holding calls all over the world.
