Dr. Seuss, Dr. Seuss, Dr. Seuss

In celebration of Dr. Seuss’s birthday, several classes across all different grade levels listened to various Dr. Seuss stories. Children participated in accountable talk and made hats to look like the Cat in the Hat. Children then did a hands on activity of edible bracelets with licorice and fruit loops. Whoever knew that birthdays could be so much fun!!!

Random Acts of Kindness

After reading  LaBella Reina’s post on IG, I entered a frequent library patron in the fitness enthusiast’s contest. This specific gym queen is beautiful both inside and out. LaBella Reina graciously posted about her contest to help three children for the holidays. She asked that contestants write a description about why the nominee is special and why the child should be selected. True to her word, LaBella Reina emailed back with some questions pertaining to the child’s favorite activities and later mailed a gift box.… Visit the author's original post
