When I grew up we had four television stations and cartoons aired on Saturdays. Pong was the only video game on the market. I played outside. I loved puzzles. So going to school was exciting. After all, there wasn’t much else to compete for my attention.

Microsoft has published a set of new online courses called Microsoft Teacher Academies, which are available for free to teachers looking for training and professional development. The online courses are designed to empower educators with the ability to effectively integrate Microsoft’s tools in teaching and learning. Coming soon-new ways to achieve more in your classroom


Today, we are announcing the first phase of a Preview program for two new Education services: Microsoft Class Dashboard and Microsoft School Information Sync, which will be available to Office 365 Education users at no additional charge. Class Dashboard and School Information Sync simplify connections between systems, and simplify communication and collaboration between teachers and students. As a result, teachers have more time to focus on what they love—engaging with students—using Microsoft Office tools that they use every day.

El Paso Independent School District “Powers Up” Students, Teachers with Microsoft Technology

The El Paso Independent School District, where 80 percent of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunches, worked closely with Microsoft to determine and deliver the devices and tools necessary to make the digital transition and give El Paso schools. Their “Power Up” initiative will transform education and provide a Windows-based laptop running Office 365 for every student and teacher in the district. Tja, wat dan? Ik heb ondertussen wel wat voorbeelden van partners die een succesvolle migraties van Windows Server 2003 systemen hebben gedaan.

 

Zoals het chemisch bedrijf die de Windows Server 2003 hebben vervangen die de weegbrug aanstuurde. Hierop worden alle vrachtwagens die laden en lossen gewogen. Zou er een probleem op deze server ontstaan dan zou het complete bedrijfsproces stil komen te liggen omdat er geen vrachtwagen meer in of uit het bedrijf kan.

Office 365 Pro Plus begint steeds vaker onderdeel te worden bij de uitrol van een nieuwe desktop installatie.
