Transformational Project – Creating 21st Century Learning Environments at Gawler East Primary School

In a previous blog, I have mentioned my transformational project that we created after listening to Chris Clay describe his project with Microsoft and viewing the TOMS project

project. We split ourselves into groups and tried to create our very own transformational project. Each group was successful in coming up with ideas but I kept asking myself ‘what else can I do to help our students at Gawler East Primary School have 21st Century learning environments to support 21st Century Learning?’

During the flight, I grabbed a blank copy of the lean canvas and began scribbling down ideas.… Visit the author's original post

I am fortunate to be in the role as Assistant Principal (innovative Practices and Curriculum) at Gawler East Primary School, South Australia. I have taught in primary and high schools, where I have nearly taught every subject offered in the Australian Curriculum.

I really enjoy learning and sharing this passion with others, especially my students and fellow colleagues. More recently, through the MIE program I have been able to learn from my fellow MIEs and share my learning with them. I believe this has really helped me grow as an educator and I look forward to the future.

I have collaborated with Kalpana to create http://mpudskalpana.wix.com/mieexperts a site where we share monthly blogs about our ongoing journey as MIEs in Brunei and Australia.… Visit the author's original post
