I am a middle and senior school teacher at an all-girls independent school, Branksome Hall, in Toronto, Canada. The school is a leading International Baccalaureate (IB) World school.
I currently teach middle school drama and high school computer studies, in addition to my role as a technology integration support teacher for our faculty.
My recent drive in my professional development has been advancing my professional networks and exploring ideas around motivation and success of girls in STEM. This has been enhanced through my involvement with the ISTE Arts Educator Network and Cohort21. My blog investigates a lot of my ideas around getting more girls interested in STEM, most specifically, computer science. Although I work at a girls school, we still need to find relevant and exciting ways to motivate them in these subjects.

I am a drama and computer studies teacher at Branksome Hall (an all-girls independent IB school).

Prior to teaching, I worked as an arts administrator at a children's theatre, Young Peoples' Theatre, in Toronto. At the theatre, I had various duties (as you do at a non-profit!) including grant writing, special events management and member of our arts education committee. This is where I realized that I needed to go back and get my teaching degree.
